Each year, around this time, W.A.G.S. 4 Kids joins together with our generous contributors, volunteers, community partners and most importantly – the families we serve – to celebrate and support them in their ongoing struggle against developmental disabilities & mental health challenges through the early intervention service and support of a W.A.G.S. 4 Kids Service Dog! In 2021, friends gathered for an evening of "Pure Imagination" and what can only be described as pure magic as we raised over $50,000 that night for WAGS 4 Kids programming and $25,000 for scholarships and direct family assistance.

This year, we hope to recreate that magic as we dress down and glam up for a night that sparkles!

Since our founding in 2004, Working Animals Giving Service for Kids has partnered hundreds of kids with their service dogs, served 35 counties of NE & Central OH, hosted educational programming for nearly 15,000 children across 20 districts. In the coming year, we look forward to changing even more lives through the placement of these task-trained service dogs, expanding our geographic reach to include Southeast OH! This work in early intervention services has been proven to help change a child's developmental path and improve outcomes for children, families, and communities. Help a child, help a family! Make a wish come true and empower a future leader of tomorrow! Families benefit from early intervention by being able to better meet their children's needs from an early age and throughout their lives.

Your support of this event positively and directly impacts W.A.G.S. 4 Kids programs and services.

All event proceeds will be used for mission critical services like food, housing, veterinary care, supplies and countless hours of professional training that go into preparing a Service Dog for placement with a child. (Did I mention that 4 of our service pups in training will be there?)

We are especially proud to announce this year - all fund-a-need proceeds will go towards the WAGS 4 Kids Foundation Partner Placement Scholarship Fund to be used to provide scholarships to kids in need that, due to no fault of their own, are having a hard time meeting their fundraising goals. Let's place some dogs tonight!

We firmly believe that with the right people and your unwavering support, we are entering our rarest year yet of events and gems of good that our organization, supporters and families have come to expect. What a joy it will be to see you all as we celebrate you. Cheers to your innovation, inspiration, and pure imagination!

Until then, stay safe, be well, and thank you for all your support of W.A.G.S. 4 Kids.

    Sincerely,

    Sera Nelson, Executive Director
