    • WAGS 4 Kids is seeking individuals and families who are willing to volunteer their time to foster our service dogs in training!

      Fostering a WAGS 4 Kids Service Dog is an incredible opportunity! Not only do you get to learn how to help train specialized dogs, but you get to interact with numerous lovable, four-legged friends; not to mention helping change the lives of those with disabilities.

    • Foster Program Process

      Apply

      Fill out the below application and wait for a response from our team

      Phone Call

      If we feel like your household would have a positive experience and be a positive environment, we will give you a call to ask some addtional questions as well as vet any questions you may have about the Foster Program.

      Home Inspection

      A virtual home inspection will be scheduled with our Director of Placement Services & Foster Care to ensure the safety of the dogs while living in your home. WE can offer suggestions to make sure your living space is prepared for your new furry house guest.

      4

      Orientation

      You will receive our Step By Step Training Textbook and begin book study. This orientation training will introduce you to our methods and prepare you for your new foster dog.

      5

      Drop Off

      You will schedule receipt of your new foster dog with one of our trainers to ensure you have everything you need and feel comfortable with the dog. Once you are all set, it's time to "Go To Work!"
