Perry Service Learning (PSL) and W.A.G.S. 4 Kids are teaming up to host the 5th annual Perry Community Walk & Roll on Wednesday, March 4th, 2015. This event is designed to bring awareness of the abilities of people with special needs.

The program begins at 6:00 p.m. with Nick Walczak, a survivor of the Chardon High School shooting, sharing the story of his rehabilitation and experiences with his service dog. The event concludes with a 1 mile walk around the track in our Community Fitness Center where participants can participate in simulations and learn about local organizations that serve people with special needs in Northeast Ohio.

Exhibitors will include the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities, the Lake County ADAMHS Board, W.A.G.S. 4 Kids, Laketran, Camp Sue Osborne, Unique Like Me, The Shoppe in the City & Vocations Solutions for Adults, NAMI, and PSL student simulations.

Free t-shirts will be provided for the first 50 people who complete the awareness walk. In order for the event organizers to plan accordingly, we request that all participants pre-register using the form at:http://perryservicelearning.weebly.com/community-walk–roll.html
