    Meet Alice

    Mission: $9,000 Family Fundraising

    · Kids In Need,Sensory Processing,Autism
    Section image

Alice is a sweet 6-year-old girl with autism who is nonverbal. She experiences the world in unique ways and communicates through her own expressions, gestures, and actions. She faces daily challenges with communication, sleep, safety, and sensory regulation.

Alice is prone to elopement, making constant supervision necessary to keep her safe. Public places can be overwhelming due to sensory sensitivities, often causing anxiety and difficulty participating in everyday activities. She struggles with sleep, which affects both her and her family's well-being. At times, Alice engages in self-injurious behaviors when she becomes overwhelmed or unable to communicate her needs.

For Alice, a service dog would be much more than a pet—it would be a trusted partner, a source of security, and a bridge to greater independence and participation in the world around her. The support of a service dog would help Alice and her family navigate daily life with increased confidence, safety, and peace of mind. Allowing Alice to have a better quality of life.
