  • Legacy Giving

As the year begins, renew your plans to give, and help W.A.G.S. 4 Kids give the gift of a friend for life.

Working Animals Giving Service for Kids is unlike any other service dog training organization.

Your bequests and life income gifts help W.A.G.S. 4 Kids empower the disabled youth of Northeast Ohio through the partnership of a mobility service or autism spectrum service dog trained by the inmates of Grafton Correctional Institution who learn all the lessons of a way to live better.

    Because of your charitable giving:

    • No need for parents to uproot their family, spend thousands of dollars traveling thousands of miles to a training facility to receive a service dog. We start in the home and we never leave. Your family is our family—because all a family should worry about is helping their child.
    • Children with special needs and their families are empowered physically, mentally, emotionally and more through the partnership of a custom trained mobility service or autism service dog. Because every child deserves a friend for life.
    • ODRC Apprentices are certified as Service Dog Trainers, provided training, education, and technical assistance as part of the ODRC’s Offender Workforce Development. The workshop is designed to enhance the employability of individuals with a criminal history.
    • 100% of W.A.G.S. 4 Kids funding comes from individual contributors and local partnerships , so W.A.G.S. 4 Kids has the freedom to focus on what matters most— empowering children with special needs regardless of their financial situation.
